Anne-Katrin Zapryanova is a professional in organisational and strategic development of non-profit organizations, focusing on the promotion of democratic values and human rights. Franco-German, Anne-Katrin studied political sciences and international relations in France. After 6 years in Brussels working as an evaluator of EuropeAid development projects, Anne-Katrin spent over eight years with the ERIM (Equal Rights and Independent Media), a French NGO promoting fundamental freedoms, supporting independent media and improving citizen’s media and information literacy (MIL). For ERIM, Anne-Katrin was the Head of the Eastern Partnership (EaP) Region.In this role, she was responsible for strategic and financial development, program portfolio oversight, team management, fundraising and institutional relations. Anne-Katrin has also worked for the West Africa region at the International Rescue Committee (IRC). Anne-Katrin has focused on managing programmatic portfolio in complex political environments, with significant experience in Eastern Europe, Eurasia and Africa.
