Marta Portocarrero

Multimedia Producer, London

Marta studied Digital Journalism in London (2014). Since then, she has been working as a multimedia journalist in the UK and Latin America. She led the multimedia department of Convoca, an investigative journalism organisation based in Peru that contributed to the Pulitzer Prize-winning Panama Papers investigation. In the UK, she worked for China Dialogue, a non-profit environmental journalism organisation, and The Independent. She is the recipient of The Guardian Student Digital Journalism award and collaborated with The Guardian and The Financial Times. Marta also runs filming workshops in local youth centres. She is interested in human rights, enjoys experimenting with new technologies, scuba diving and learning new languages.
