About our donors

While these foundations have very different statutes and aims, they all agree with our assessment of the gaps in European reporting. Their support is a statement in favour of our approach to improve this. However, this does not mean our stories are in any way assigned by the donors. The responsibility rests exclusively with us, the journalists.

About our support structure

JOURNALISMFUND
JOURNALISMFUND
Journalismfund.eu is an independent, non-profit organisation based in Zellik, Belgium. Its purpose is to stimulate in-depth cross-border journalism in Europe. However, cross-border investigative journalism does not fit into any traditional business model. Journalismfund.eu makes it possible for journalists to investigate stories thoroughly and independently, by operating as a firewall between donors and journalists. Journalismfund takes care of our accounting and financial audit and remains our official contact point for fundraising, logistical support and communication.
N-OST
